How it Began

Started in 2016 by Elizabeth Spitzer, Tea with Liz is an opportunity for people to receive confidential support and encouragement through the process of active and compassionate listening.

Reflecting on experiences with people who appreciated her ease of presence and ease of conversation, she knew she could serve people with something she naturally does well. Yet not settling for natural abilities alone – she has worked to increase her knowledge and skills with training and study.

Liz has trained in Compassionate Listening and is continuing her education in Psychology (emphasis in Counseling), Communication, and Leadership.
